Product Description

As a leading industrial sealant manufacturer, Howell continues to develop a variety of industrial sealant chemistries for a diverse range of uses. Our product lines include industrial sealants which are used for automotive, general construction, manufacturing, and industrial maintenance and repair applications.

Let's explore the silicone sealants- the science behind it's strength. You've probably wondered why some sealants are tougher than others or what gives them that remarkable strength. Well, let's unravel the mysteries together and explore the science behind the formulas of the strongest silicone sealants

PU9208 is a two-component thermally conductive flame-retardant polyurethane adhesive. It is applied by mixing the two components in the proper ratio. It features high strength, excellent adhesion, impact resistance, good thermal conductivity, and flame-retardant properties. Additionally, it exhibits water resistance, electrical insulation, and corrosion resistance. PU9208 is widely used in bonding composite panels and assembling metal materials and fiber-reinforced composites.

  1. Suitable for structural bonding and fixation of composite materials such as SMC, FRP, CFRP, ABS, as well as bonding between composite materials and metal materials, or between metal materials.
  2. Applicable for structural bonding between power battery cells, with excellent performance in PET film bonding, aluminum-plastic film bonding, PI film bonding, etc.

  1. Excellent thermal conductivity
  2. Meets high flame retardancy requirements
  3. Outstanding flexibility and impact resistance
  4. Excellent resistance to aging and chemical media

  1. The surface of the adhered materials should be cleaned in advance to ensure that it is clean, dry, oil-free, and dust-free.
  2. When using two-component cartridge products, place the product in the matching caulking gun, gently push the plunger until both components are dispensed simultaneously, and then install the mixing nozzle.
  3. Apply the adhesive evenly and continuously during application. The adhesive may gradually cure in the mixing nozzle if left unused for an extended period.
  4. After applying the adhesive to assembled components, quickly close and press them together to ensure that the adhesive fully wets the substrate.
  5. Temperature significantly affects the working time and curing of the adhesive. The operating temperature should not be below 10°C, with a recommended range of 15-25°C.
  6. Heating can accelerate curing; choose appropriate conditions based on actual sample experiments.
  7. Unused adhesive should be stored in a sealed state for future use. When resuming application, replace the mixing nozzle with a new one.

Components A and B of the product are highly sensitive to moisture and therefore need to be stored in sealed packaging. If components A and B cannot be used up at once, please seal them tightly immediately after use to prevent moisture from entering and affecting the next use. It is recommended to store components A and B at temperatures between 15-30°C. During transportation, temperatures can drop to 0°C, but prolonged storage at this temperature is not advisable. If crystallization occurs, do not use the product.

Store in a cool, dry place, sealed, with a shelf life of at least 6 months at temperatures between 15-25°C.
