HM-SS2649 silicone weather-resistant adhesive for construction is a kind of one-component, neutral curing, low modulus, high elasticity silicone rubber; it has good elasticity and displacement deformation ability, and has good adhesion to various powder coating metals The thixotropy of the product prevents it from sagging when it is applied in building joints, so it is especially suitable for the design of non-structural bonding, weather resistance, and waterproof sealing of various curtain walls; at the same time, it can be used in a wide range of climate temperatures It can be used, and it has good adhesion and compatibility to the surface of most substrates without primer. After curing, it is anti-aging, anti-ultraviolet radiation and extreme high and low temperature (-50- 150°C) changes; it has Low modulus performance, can bear the expansion and displacement capacity of the interface ± 25%, can be widely used in bonding and sealing.

1. Surface Cleaning of Base Material :
( 1) The purpose of surface treatment before bonding is to remove oil stains, dust, surface damage, and loose natural oxide film on the surface of the base material during production and transportation, roughen the surface of the base material to form a surface morphology suitable for mechanical interlocking, improve the surface chemical properties, and improve durability under the influence of stress and environmental factors.
(2) The cleaning solvents used are usually isopropanol, acetone, and xylene, and the cleaning cloth should be white, clean, soft, and non-shedding cotton cloth.
(3) The "double cloth wiping" method is used to clean the surface of the base material. Use a clean cloth soaked in solvent to wipe the surface of the base material in one direction only. Before the solvent evaporates, immediately wipe off the solvent on the surface of the base material with a second dry and clean cloth.
(4) Do not immerse the soaking cloth in a container, otherwise the clean solvent will be contaminated, affecting the cleaning effect.
(5) Each time, only the bonded and sealed construction part completed within 1 hour should be cleaned. The surface of the base material that has been cleaned should not be exposed to the air for too long.
2. Injection:
Cover the surface near the joint with plastic tape to ensure that the sealing work line is perfectly neat.
Cut open the nozzle of the adhesive tube, attach the tapered nozzle, and then cut it at a 45-degree angle according to the joint size.
Attach the caulking gun and press the adhesive material out along the gap at a 45-degree angle to ensure that the adhesive material is in close contact with the surface of the base material. When the joint width is greater than 15mm, the adhesive should be applied repeatedly. After applying the adhesive, use a cutting tool to trim the surface and remove excess adhesive. Then remove the tape. If there are stains, use a damp cloth to remove them.
3.Padding Material :
Open-cell polyurethane or closed-cell polyethylene foam filling rods and polyolefin materials are recommended as padding materials to prevent the sealing adhesive from bonding to three sides.
Application of glass curtain wall, aluminum-plastic panel curtain wall, door and window sealing and caulking
Non-structural adhesive assembly application of various curtain walls
Application of sealing and caulking between various metal and aluminum alloy doors, windows and walls
Glass, coated glass, tiles and masonry, concrete, etc.
