The use of anaerobic adhesive for locking and preventing loosening is because the adhesive can fill all the gaps in the threaded engagement and squeeze out air during "anaerobic curing" , thus forming insoluble polymers on the threaded mating surface. This was the earliest application direction of anaerobic adhesives. The threaded engagement can be classified into removable (241) and non-removable (271) with conventional tools. The method of locking and preventing loosening is simpler and more reliable than commonly used mechanical methods, therefore it has been widely applied.
