PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The HM-E45 neutral alkoxy silicone sealant is a one-part, de-alcoholizing, low modulus,high-elasticity silicone rubber product. It features minimal VOC volatilization and does notcorrode copper or mirror surfaces. Possessing strong elasticity and displacement deformationcapabilities, it adheres well to a variety of materials, such as metal, glass, ceramic, and wood. Itsthixotropic properties prevent sagging during application, making it particularly well-suited fornon-structural adhesion, weathering, and waterproof sealing in curtain wall designs. This sealantexhibits robust adhesion and compatibility across a wide range of climatic temperatures, oftenwithout needing a primer. Post-cure, it withstands aging, UV radiation, and extreme temperaturefluctuations (-50-150 ºC). The low modulus performance of HM-E45 enables it to accommodateinterface expansion and contraction of ± 25%, making it versatile for numerous bonding andsealing needs.
APPLICATIONS
Copper metal bonding, waterproof sealing of electronic components
Mirror bonding
Glass curtain wall, aluminum composite panel curtain wall, door and window sealing andcaulking applications
Non-structural adhesive assembly application of various curtain walls
Sealing and caulking application between various metal and aluminum alloy doors andwindows and walls
Glass, coated glass, ceramic tile and masonry, concrete, etc.
Oil-impermeable woodRestrictions on use
Cannot be used in structural assemblies
Cannot be used on surfaces where plasticizers or solvents can leach out, which may causesexual damage to the sealant
Not recommended for completely sealed spaces, which may result in incomplete curing dueto lack of water vapor
It is not recommended for use in areas that are permanently submerged in water
Not recommended for structural surfaces that will come in direct contact with foodstuffs
Not recommended for structural surfaces that come in direct contact with food
Not recommended for use on medical devices
USAGE
E-45 is a one-component sealant that cures upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. It isuser-friendly, requiring no pre-use stirring, and can be easily dispensed using either manual orpneumatic caulking guns. Prior to application, ensure the substrate surface is thoroughly dry andfree of oil, grease, and dust. After applying the sealant, trim any excess from the adhesive surfacebefore it forms a crust. When designing adhesive joints, avoid creating three-sided adhesion withthe sealant.
PACKAGE
Standard 300ml plastic plastic bottle packing, 24 pcs/ctn; 500ml flexible film packing, 20 pcs/ctn;200L iron drum.
Store the original sealant in a dry place, the temperature should not be higher than 27 degreesCelsius, from the date of production, the storage period of 12 months
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Ensure the product is kept out of children's reach. Always read the product specifications, material details, and instructions on the container packaging before use.
