Construction
1. Cleaning of Substrate Surface
(1) Surface treatment before bonding is crucial to eliminate oil, dust, and surface imperfections, as well as any loose oxide film. This process roughens the base material surface, making it ideal for high-strength bonding and enhancing durability under stress.
(2) Employ cleaning solvents like isopropyl alcohol, methyl ethyl ketone, and xylene with a white, clean, non-linting cotton cloth for optimal results.
(3) The 'double cloth wiping' method ensures thorough cleaning. Soak a clean cloth in solvent to wipe in one direction, then immediately follow with a second dry cloth before evaporation occurs.
(4) Avoid contaminating the cleaning solvent by not immersing the soaking rag back into the solvent container.
(5) Limit cleaning to the bonding and sealing areas, completing this within an hour to prevent prolonged air exposure.
