1. Howell Translucent Silicone Sealant for Mechanical and Electrical Insulation is a semi-transparent, single-component, neutral-curing sealant that boasts superb flexibility and outstanding movement capability, expertly engineered

to serve as an efficient sealant for mechanical components.

2. This cost-effective, versatile solution is user-friendly, and once cured, it exhibits remarkable physical properties alongside excellent weather resistance,

durability, sealability, and adhesion, making it an indispensable choice.

3. It demonstrates exceptional resistance to aging, harsh weather conditions, and thermal cycling, never hardening, shrinking, or cracking.

APPLICATION

1. Ideal for electrical insulation, safeguarding wires from mechanical shock, and sealing air ducts, vents, flues,

as well as enhancing the durability of doors and windows.

2. Operative within a broad temperature spectrum from -54°C to 250°C, ensuring versatility in various conditions.

 

RESTRICTIONS

APPLICATION TEMPERATURE: Ranges from +5ºC to +45ºC.

1. Clean the substrate surfaces meticulously with an appropriate cleaning agent to ensure complete cleanliness.

2. Apply the sealant only after the cleaning agent has dried, typically within 1 to 2 minutes. Consider using two distinct cloths, one for

the cleaning agent application and another for the sealant itself.

3. For enhanced aesthetics, mask off the joint areas before applying the sealant.

4. Smoothen the sealant immediately after application and remove masking tape prior to skin formation.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

A shelf life of 12 months is guaranteed when stored in original, unopened packaging, in a cool, dry place at temperatures between +5ºC and 27ºC,

and humidity levels between 30% and 70%. For optimal storage, aim for the lower end of these temperature and humidity ranges.

To maintain product integrity, avoid returning any unused material to the original container.

 

COLOR AND PACKAGE

Available in semi-transparent and black. Additional color options are also available to suit varied needs.

Packaging options include 85g, 300ml, and 600ml.

A variety of packaging sizes are also available.
