High temperature silicone sealant,suitable for replacing gaskets. It is easy to use and meets the requirements for on site shaping, curing, production, and maintenance. Using a new environmentally friendly formula,this non-toxic and low odor sealing adhesive provides temperature resistance, oil resistance, and corrosion resistance,making it an excellent alternative to traditional gaskets. It is widely used for flat sealing of engines, gear boxes, axlehousingsin automobiles,motorcycles,ships,and machinery equipment. It is the best solution for solving flat sealing problems during assembly and maintenance. 

Previously, solid gaskets such as paper,asbestos,and metal were used for flats ealing.However, these solid gaskets are prone to leakage over time due to stress or infiltration.

To completely solve the problem of leakage,anaerobic sealants or silicone sealants are now being chosen to replace solid gaskets for sealing purposes. This product has excellent adhesive strength, instant sealing,oil resistance,high and low temperature resistance,weather resistance, and
pressure resistance. 

 
Application
Mainly used for flange sealing, with excellent oil resistance and ability to with stand large movement of adhesive joints, such as stamped metal covers (such as timing gear covers, oil pans, engines).
 
Usage Guidelines
It cannot be used for structural assembly
Do not use on surfaces where plasticizers or solvents may leak out, as this may cause damage to the sealant
It is not recommended to use it in a completely sealed space, which will cause it to not be able to cure completely due to lack of moisture
It is not recommended to use it in places that have been immersed in water for a long time
It is not recommended for structural surfaces that will come into direct contact with food
It is not recommended to use it on medical devices.

 
Construction
1. Cleaning of substrate surface

(1) The purpose of surface treatment before bonding is to remove oil, dust, surface damage and loose natural oxide film on the surface of the base material during the production and transportation process, so as to roughen the surface of the base material and form a surface suitable for mechanism embedding. morphology, while improving surface chemical properties and improving durability under the influence of stress environmental factors.

(2) Cleaning solvents are usually isopropyl alcohol, m ethyl ethyl ketone, and xylene. The cleaning cloth should be white, clean, soft, non-linting cotton.

(3) Use the "double cloth wiping" method to clean the surface of the substrate. Soak a clean cloth with solvent. Wipe the surface of the substrate in only one direction. Before the solvent evaporates, immediately use a second cloth with a clean dry surface. Wipe the solvent off the surface of the substrate.

(4) Do not put the soaking rag into the container for soaking, otherwise the clean solvent will be contaminated and the cleaning effect will be affected.

(5) Only clean the bonding and sealing construction part within 1 hour each time. Do not expose the cleaned substrate surface to the air for too long.

2. Make a bet
Use plastic tape to cover the surface near the interface to ensure that the sealing working lines are perfectly neat.
Cut the mouth of the hose, install the pointed tube, and then cut it at a 45° angle according to the size of the gap.
Install the sealant gun and press out the sealant along the gap at a 45° angle to ensure that the sealant is in close contact with the surface of the base material. When the joint width is greater than 15 mm, sealant needs to be applied multiple times. After gluing, trim the surface with a knife to remove excess sealant, then tear off the tape. If there are stains, use a damp cloth to remove them.

3. Pad material
Open-cell polyurethane or closed-cell polyethylene foam padding rods and polyethylene materials are recommended lining materials. Prevent sealant from sticking on three sides.
 
Storage and Shelf Life

Store the original sealant in a dry place, the temperature should not be higher than 27 degrees, the storage period is 12 months from the date of production.
